Fairy Tale Dance Theater Mini Camps: Ages 3-5
Mini-camps are a great warm up for Storybook Dance Theater camps! Girls & boys will learn, play, and tell stories in this imaginative 3-day mini camp. Note: Mini-camps have no final performance,
but you can watch all the fun on our social media pages!

Monday- Friday, 9am-12:00pm. $300 per session.
Hunter Dance Center Faculty will lead creative journeys using dance, music, creative drama, circus arts and crafts. Each 1-week session will culminate in an informal performance for family and friends at 11:30am on Friday. Themes change each session so that students may participate in multiple camps.
Limited to 20 dancers per session.

Join Aerial Camp for a week of intense learning and honing new skills! Campers will participate in conditioning, aerial silks and trapeze class, and repertory/compositional work which will culminate in an informal showing on Friday at 3:30pm. Friends and family are encouraged to attend and see all the progress after just one week! Weekly Camps June 10 – July 26: Monday- Friday, 1- 4:00pm, $350/week

What happens when the Prom Theme turns real? Calling all dancers ages 9-12 to come dance the summer away at Hunter and build a performance based on a different prom theme each week! At Summer Dance Theater Camp dancers will take classes in Ballet, Modern, Acro, Contemporary, Jazz, Tap, Musical Theater Jazz, and Hip Hop and build a short performance to share with parents on Friday at 12pm. Join us for the whole summer or just one week and watch the growth happen!

Join us for two camps in one day! Students ages 7-8 can start in our Storybook Camp and finish the day in our afternoon Aerial Camp. Students ages 9-12 can start in our Dance Theater Camp and finish in our Aerial Camp. Bring a lunch for our “lunch bunch” at 12pm-1pm where campers refuel their bodies, meet new friends, and watch a dance movie.

Open Dance Project hosts this Summer Intensive for the pre-professional level. Modeled on the professional company experience, students will start the day with morning technique classes in Ballet, Pointe, Modern/Contemporary, Acro, Hip Hop, Musical Theater Jazz and Character. They will spend the afternoons developing an original, fully costumed immersive performance of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. This intensive is for the serious dance student looking to hone their technique and further their artistry. All ODP 2 members and dancers interested in auditioning for ODP2 are strongly encouraged to participate in this summer intensive. (Note: An audition for ODP2’s 2024-25 Season will be held Saturday August 10th from 2:30-4:30pm)
Classes Offered Monday – Saturday, 9-9pm.
Advanced Pre-Professional/Professional Level
$350 per student for unlimited drop in classes
Open Dance Project re-envisions the Summer Intensive with a full summer of intermediate and advanced level training for the serious student through drop-in classes in Ballet, Pointe, Modern, Floor Barre, Munz Barre, Horton, Acro, Hip Hop, Musical Theater Jazz, Tap, Repertory and Composition. Students will pay special attention to developing their craft as they learn from Hunter Dance Center’s resident professional dance company, Open Dance Project. All advanced level ODP2 members are strongly encouraged to take full advantage of this program of intensive summer study to dance 5-6 days a week. (Note: An audition for ODP2’s 2024-25 Season will be held Saturday August 10th from 2:30-4:30pm)
